Intrigued

Found this photo online, and I was so intrigued by it that I kept staring at it non-stop for a few hours.

Oh the wonders of photography.

It tells a story and speaks of a thousand words, don't they?

Mood Swing

Maybe I'll miss today.

It's funny how I was feeling contented for one moment,

and feeling all melancholy the next moment, 

within these 48 hours.

Aftermath

In that moment of glorious surrender.

Was the moment You broke the chains in me.

Lifted out of the ashes.

I am found in the aftermath.

Now all I have I count it at all as loss.

But to know You and to carry the cross.

Knowing I'm found.

In the light of the aftermath.

Into the wild

As I lay there in the open field out in the day,

the leaves were rustling on the trees,

the birds glide through the air with such freedom,

the clouds flowing through the vast blue sky in a dreamy way.

Here in the night,

when the cold wind blows,

the uncountable stars sparkle in the night sky,

the beautiful moon shone it's rays majestically.

All of this just reminded me of how great a God I serve.

The bottom line

These things take time to grow.

And so the story goes.
