Dang!

Talk about marketing.
Kind of like 'in your face', doesn't it? Oh well.
Here's one last one...

Theatre Of Dreams

If John Henry Davies and Archibald Leitch were to see Old Trafford today on it's 100th anniversary, they would surely nod in aprroval. It was the foresight of club chairman Davies and the know how of 'Engineering Archie' that realised the construction of Old Trafford. The ground was given the nickname, the Theatre of Dreams by Sir Bobby Charlton. Over the years, many unforgettable matches and derbies have been played, and many great players from the era of Sir Matt Busby to the era of Sir Alex Ferguson have graced the Theatre of Dreams.

I will definitely visit Old Trafford when I have the earning power.

Old Trafford opened it's gates on 19th February 1910.

They're gon' take you places

These are the good ol' Chuck Taylors, because classic never dies. However, I doubt all these designs are being sold in Singapore.

On a side note...

I was surfing the web to check out the latest fashion happenings, and I came across this local label. Thought that the statement about fashion was very true:
"What you wear speaks volume about who you are and what inspires you. Fashion is many things, it's not about models strutting their stuff, or the affluent carrying the 'it' bag. It's an expression of ideas, emotions and social lifestyle. For us, it's all about, real people."

Not Alone

You are not alone.
You are not unknown.

Have a blessed Chinese New Year!

Glowing Sole

Was doing some Myspace hopping a few weeks back, and I came across this band, Sigur Rós. They are a Post-Rock band from Iceland.

Love the lead singer's (Jónsi Birgisson) falsetto voice.

Here's their music video titled, 'Glósóli'. Its a little bit long, but I believe you will love it after watching. Its very artistic and highly cinematographic. I thought I liked the ambiguous ending.

Enjoy!

A Matter of Life and Denim

Some of you might agree to this post.
Some of you might think this post is bullshit.
But I'm still gonna post it anyway.
Well this is my blog, and I'm entitled to my thoughts.

I consider buying a pair of jeans as an investment. Whether you are a guy or a girl, poor or rich, young or old,  you definitely own at least a pair of jeans or more. The more you wear your jeans, the more it brings out your 'attidude' (The fitting, crease, wear and tear, fading, etc). Thats why, I don't believe in buying a pair of anyhow-jeans (No offence here, but I hope you get what I meant). You might think that paying more than 100 bucks to get a pair of quality jeans is a cardinal sin. But I strongly believe that wearing a good pair of jeans out will give you a feel-good factor and confidence. No I'm not being a snob or brand-conscious here. Its just my thoughts about jeans thats all.

Like what I mentioned earlier, I'll sum it up in a phrase, "One man's meat is another man's poison."

Transition

Decided to change my blog layout.
Cause I was getting sick of the old one.
I believe in 'Less is more.'

Now to my post...

We all go through 'periods of transition' in our lives.
May it be good or bad,
these are significant milestones
that we will always remember.
During this period,
we learned our lessons,
and fought our battles.
However, they do not last forever.
That's why they are called 'periods.'

Trusting in transition.
