Difference

Survive: To remain or continue in existence.
Overcome: To overpower or overwhelm in body and mind.

The only similarity is, you will still be alive after surviving and overcoming.
The question is: "Do you gain victory by overcoming your circumstances, and come out stronger? Or you just barely made it and survived to see through your circumstances?"

Overcoming is a better option isn't it?
